Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers for buyers preparing shaft and pin drawings and RFQs.

Can you manufacture shafts and pins to my drawing?

Yes. All parts are made to customer drawings — not from a standard catalog. Send your drawing with material and quantity, and our engineering team will review it for manufacturability before quoting.

What is the typical MOQ for precision shafts and pins?

Typical MOQ depends on part complexity and material. For standard brass or stainless parts, MOQ is usually 500–1,000 pcs. For prototype validation, smaller quantities can be discussed.

Can you manufacture small-diameter shafts with threads and knurling?

Yes. Our Swiss CNC machines with live tooling can produce threads, knurling, cross-drilling and milling features in a single setup.

What materials can be used for Swiss CNC shafts?

Stainless steel 303/304/316, brass C3604, aluminum 6061/7075, carbon steel, titanium Grade 5, and engineering plastics (POM, PEEK, Nylon).

NEXT STEP Have a Shaft or Pin Drawing?
