FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What module range can you manufacture?

Typical module range is 0.5–8. For modules outside this range, please send the drawing for review.

What gear quality grade can you achieve?

Typical quality is up to AGMA 8 / DIN 8. Higher grades may be achievable with gear grinding.

Can you produce gears from hardened steel?

Yes. We can machine gears from pre-hardened steel or apply case hardening/carburizing after tooth cutting.

Do you offer gear grinding?

Yes. Gear grinding is available for high-precision applications requiring smoother tooth surfaces.
